Case Studies
We were engaged by our friends at JAC Project Management to provide Move Management and Building clearance services to DMGT in Kensington High Street.
Leaving their iconic Northcliffe House temporarily after many years, to allow its redevelopment, our role included all the planning and delivery of staff and desktop technology moves; to be followed by the clearance of the building by lease end to allow the redevelopment to start.
DMGT comprises the Daily Mail, Mail on Sunday, Metro and New Scientist magazine to name just a few of their stable of publications, all of which continued normal publication during the move period.
Our initial move period of 8 weeks was reduced to 8 days, due to issues with the fitout of the temporary space that we were moving them to.
“Can you come build me some Operating Theatres please” was one of the more unusual client requests we have ever received. Taking the call in February 2021, during a period of Covid lockdown, the modular theatres were to built to help bring down the general NHS backlog of operations.
Designed and delivered in modular form, the groundworks, construction and internal fitout of the 4 Theatres took just 3 months and were provided under Emergency Covid Planning Regulations and connected to temporary services – power, water supply and drainage.
Stone Ticket acted as client Project Manager, working alongside the Construction Project Management team as well as the St George’s clinicians.
Stone Ticket was engaged in order to devise and deliver a Corporate Office strategy for MTVH’s UK offices. Following Utilisation Studies across the existing office portfolio we made recommendations leading to the release of 3 leases in North London, the refurbishment of a further existing 6,580 sqft and the acquisition of 22,153 sqft of prime Hatton Garden CAT A space.
Stone Ticket was engaged by InfraRed Capital Partners (”InfraRed”) in January 2020, to relocate the company to their new Head Office at One Bartholomew over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend; and then to clear their old office of redundant furniture and IT. However, Covid-19 was to put paid to weeks of planning.
Stone Ticket’s owner and Director, Guy Bradshaw, has been associated with the BBC since 1987, working in the management of the Corporation’s estate for 32 years; initially as an employee and then, since 2006, as a contractor, trusted to deliver its major project relocations.
Stone Ticket was appointed to plan and deliver the relocation of Hachette UK, from 5 buildings into 1 new Headquarters in Central London. Stone Ticket was also appointed to deliver the clearances and minor dilapidations associated with the 5 vacated buildings, to strict lease-end timetables and landlord requirements.
