Move Management

We have enjoyed working with a varied client base over the years on many internal move and building relocation projects, of all sizes. Our team of experienced Professionals partner with our clients, taking on as large or as small a role as is required by the Project and have moved 10’s of 1,000’s of our client’s staff.

Among many projects, we have led the teams on the relocation of the COOP Headquarters in Manchester; the relocation of the BBC from London, to a new Broadcasting Centre in Salford; the occupation of the BBC’s New Broadcasting House in Central London by 5,000 staff. We are the Move Partner of choice for the City of London Police; and led the consolidation and subsequent building clearance of Hachette (Publishers) from 5 London buildings into 1 new HQ.

Our most recent major project was the relocation of the Daily Mail Group & Trust (DMGT) from their iconic Northcliffe House in Kensington, followed the full clearance of the building to allow redevelopment. The initial 8-week period allowed was reduced to 8 days due to delays in the fitout at the new building, but we successfully completed the relocation of DMGT’s stable of Daily & Weekly newspapers and Magazines on time, to allow the lease to be handed back to the landlord.

Alongside this sample of our major project experience, we regularly work with clients of between 20 – 200 staff on their office moves.

Please see Case Studies for further information on some of these projects.

Project & Programme Management

We can take on the role of Project Managers, as required, from small scale fine-tunes up to large office fit outs. Our most recent fitout projects completed were 22,000 sqft of CAT A space in Central London and 31,000 sqft in Nottingham, both for our Social Housing client.

In addition, during Covid lockdown, we Project Managed, on behalf of our client, the St George’s University Hospital Trust, the construction of 4 modular operating Theatres at Queen Mary’s Hospital in Roehampton, to deal with the NHS’s growing backlog of operations. After a construction period of just 3 months on site and fully opened in June 2021, the Theatres have delivered, to date (May 2023) 8,500 successful operations. See Case Studies.
