The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC)
Stone Ticket’s owner and Director, Guy Bradshaw, has been associated with the BBC since 1987, working in the management of the Corporation’s estate for 32 years; initially as an employee and then, since 2006, as a contractor, trusted to deliver its major project relocations.
Guy was responsible for the wholesale relocation of BBC 5 Live, BBC Sport, Children’s and Learning, from London and Manchester, to the newly created Regional Centre, in Salford. Guy put together the move team, through tender processes and managed and delivered the successful relocation.
From the National Audit Office’s report into the BBC’s move to Salford [link]:
“The BBC successfully completed the complex challenge of relocating to Salford, by using the right skills and processes, developing clear delivery plans and maintaining good communications. The BBC recruited staff with expertise in managing relocations and set up a project team that developed and implemented plans for the move.”
Following the BBC North project, the same team delivered the relocation of BBC News & World Service into New Broadcasting House in Central London, to join their BBC Radio colleagues. This 18-month relocation was again delivered successfully and the move of 5,500 staff was completed with no loss of live output.
Most recently, Stone Ticket delivered the move of xxxx staff within the London estate, in order to
