St George’s NHS University Hospital Trust Construction of Operating Theatres at Queen Mary’s Hospital, Roehampto

Designed and delivered in modular form, the groundworks, construction and internal fitout of the 4 Theatres took just 3 months and were provided under Emergency Covid Planning Regulations and connected to temporary services – power, water supply and drainage.

Stone Ticket acted as client Project Manager, working alongside the Construction Project Management team as well as the St George’s clinicians.

To date (as of May 2023), the Theatres have delivered 8,500 successful operations in the new theatres and continue to be a huge success.

Stone Ticket continues to support St George’s in respect of the QMH Theatres and we are working with the client, NHS Property Services and the PFI landlord to provide more permanent utility solutions.
